Kumamoto Castle

     I write about Kumamoto castle. I think it is symbol for Kumamoto. It is in the center of kumamoto city.  kumamoto castle's another name is Ginnan castle. It is one of the Japanese important castle. Cherry blossoms also famous.

     It was built by Kiyomasa Kato the edo era. He started built it 1591. He is the proprietor of a manor of Kumamoto because he is good work Sekigahara war.He completed it at 1606. He celebrated and changed Kumamoto's name.(隈本→熊本) At 1877, Kumamoto castle was fire and broken without part of castle because of southwest war. 

      Today, Kumamoto city has a character model of Kumamoto castle. It' s name is Mr.Higomaru. He made because of 400 Kumamoto castle fortification anniversaries. It is an image character of Kumamoto City now.  

     I was able to be interested more by examining the Kumamoto castle this time. I like Japanese history, so I enjoy. Kumamoto castle is our boast because it is one of three popular castle in Japan. Kumamoto castle is famuos sightseening spot. I want to more visit for tourist. Kumamoto castle has new sighttseening spot, so I think it will be more popular.
